At 50 years old and prior to joining Full Force my weight increased dramatically in a short period of time and it got to a point that I could no longer buy clothes off the rack. My boss was so concerned that he insisted on paying for a personal trainer. I tried several trainers and went through the usual "FOS" types and after talking to Tom I then signed up with Full Force.

Since I started training with Aaron; apart from losing weight and over 10cm's from my waist, I have gained fitness and an understanding of what I need to do in order to live a healthy lifestyle. Aaron set up a program tailored to my needs and my level of capability. I still can't say that I enjoy getting up so early in the mornings; however I do look forward to training each session :-). I'm sleeping better than ever and I have a lot more energy. I can now buy clothes off the rack and I am well on the way to achieving my overall objective. I'm looking forward to the day that I reach my goal weight. I now have an added incentive: my son Mitch is training with Aaron and I need to get fit enough to wrestle him for my wallet and car keys.

When I started training with Aaron I just wanted to shed some kilos and get to the weight that I wanted to be. After my initial consultation with Aaron and a lengthy discussion about my goals and the reasons for my goals, he explained to me I don’t need to completely change my diet and lifestyle to achieve this - he explained that I just needed to modify it slightly. Also gave me realistic goals - both short term and long term.

I found this worked perfectly as my weekly routine and lifestyle wasn't completely turned upside down. Due to this I didn't get burnt out and become sick of it after 3 months like I previously had with other experiences in the past. The combination of long term and short term goals also gave me something to work towards each month whilst knowing I am working towards my final goal. Aaron is also great at not just telling you how to do an exercise but he actually takes the time to explain why you should do it and how it works/affects your body. He is also very helpful in answering nutritional questions as well as otehr basic questions about the body etc. This is great because it gives you more knowledge about your body and also keeps you motivated knowing exactly which muscles / body parts you're working and why during a session.

I also received great help and support from Tom via the online forum; which you can just about ask anything health-related you want and will get an honest unbiased opinion from the guys at Full Force. Opinions and past experiences from other people that train with Full Force are also on the forum.

I think the number one reason why I have kept training with Aaron is variety that is in our sessions; opposed to many other gyms/trainers who run through what seems to be the same routine from session to session. Aaron has been great at changing my workout routine. He alters the exercises within the sessions as well as the locations of the sessions. Whether it be at my house, the lake, or the local school it’s those changes that keep me motivated and stop me from getting bored with my training. As Aaron has explained this is also beneficial as it keeps your body guessing which never allows it to become comfortable with one exercise - as this can cause a plateau in results.

Since I started training I have dropped 15 kg's as well as making obvious strength and cardio fitness gains. This includes clearly increasing the strength and definition of my legs, losing 14 cm's from my waist and 14 cm's from my hips. Training with Aaron has not just changed my fitness and appearance but my whole outlook on life! Being able to wear the clothes I've always wanted - but never could fit into, hearing complements from people about how much I have changed and feeling more energetic and alive are just some of the things that keep me motivated and will ensure that I keep training with Aaron well into the future.

I have been working with Aaron from Full Force Fitness for several months now in an effort to loss some weight and to gain some general fitness. In my early 50's I hadn't really done any worthwhile exercise for many years and was wearing the excesses of some good living and a fair pinch of neglect. The thought of getting back into an exercise routine was a little daunting as it was always something that "I was going to do tomorrow" however as the cliche says "tomorrow never comes''

However with Aaron's understanding, patience & professionalism we planned out an exercise program that was within my capabilities. Several months on, I have lost weight and my general fitness has improved 10 fold. In the beginning I'd be totally exhausted after only 5 minutes on the exercise bike - now I am running laps around the local footy field and putting in a solid hour long training session.

My total attitude to exercise and nutrition has changed - and changed for good. I haven't felt this good in years and I have no intention of hanging up the Lycra just yet !!

I would totally recommend Full Force Fitness for all general fitness requirements and training programs.
