Frequently asked questions about personal training
Q. Is personal training too expensive?
A.
No, every person can afford personal training. Some sacrifices might have to be made, but ultimately what is more important - your daily coffee and sandwich from the Cafe or your health? When you look at things this way we can now start to work out how we are going to fit personal training into your lifestyle. On average you may spend around $15/day on food for lunch (eating out) if you instead prepared you lunch from home for an average spend of $2/day cooking in bulk, you would save $13 per day from lunch. Now 5 x 13 is $65 - this is more than the cost of a one on one personal training session for an hour length. Many positives comes out this, the two most important being - a) you save money b) you are now making a significant step in improving your health by firstly not eating as much take and secondly you are recieving first hand the best instruction, direction and training for you to reach your health and fitness goals.
Q. Am I fit enough to get personal training?
A. Yes. The great thing about personal training is the fact that every session and every exercise is designed and planned specifically for your needs (opposed to group exercise environments which can be daunting). Whether your goal is to simply lose some weight and possibly be able to jog continually for 60 seconds or whether your're training for a marathon our trainers have the knowledge and understanding to be able to design a program that will be suitable for you. All of our trainers are compassionate and understanding and will ensure that exercise is an enjoyable and positive experience that results in you achieving your goals; regardless of what your current fitness level is. Because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter where you are now - it's about where you're going!
Q. Will my trainer make me do exercises 'A', 'B' or 'C'...?
A. No. If there are any particular exercises or activities that you really don't enjoy doing then you will never be forced to do them! Some people dislike running, some dislike star jumps and others dislike push ups. You may dislike something else. If this is ever the case all that you need to do is articulate this to your trainer and they will simply:
1. Explain the reason for them including the exercise in the session and explain what they are trying to achieve by doing so.
2. Provide a different exercise that will have a similar effect on the body with the aim of attaining similar results.
For example, running can be replaced with a power walk, star jumps could be replaced with step ups and push ups could be replaced with an exercise with the exercise tubing.
You will never be made to do anything that you don't want to do. This means that you will always feel 100% comfortable with your trainer.
Q. Do I have to exercise in front of other people?
A.
No. Unlike many gyms or other crowded personal training studios with Full Force Fitness you now have the luxury of being able to exercise in privacy! As we are mobile, you are able to decide where we conduct your personal training sessions. We can even train you in the privacy of your own home or your own backyard. If you would prefer to work-out at a local park or reserve or even at your work place then that can also be arranged; but with Full Force Fitness privacy is always an option!
